Valencia sealed second spot in the standings by defeating Dubai 85-95 on Friday night at Arena Husejin Smajlovic Zenica. A back-and-forth affair in the first half saw Dubai dominate the rebounds 27-19 to secure a 47-45 edge at halftime. Yet Valencia hit the ground running with a 12-1 run in the second half and outscored the hosts 20-34 in the third quarter to open a 67-79 lead after 30 minutes. The visitors didn’t score a single field goal in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter, but they absorbed Dubai’s last comeback attempt and sealed the outcome down the stretch.

Having secured its fifth win in six games, Valencia ended the 2025-26 regular season on a 25-13 record. Meanwhile, Dubai dropped to 19-19, officially missing out on play-in qualification.

Brancou Badio paced the guests by matching his career high in scoring with 20 points, while Darius Thompson netted 13, including two three-point daggers in the closing quarter. Dzanan Musa led all scorers with 21 points and Davis Bertans bagged 17 for Dubai.

Panathinaikos finished the 2025-26 EuroLeague regular season in style by overwhelming Efes 97-62 at Telekom Center Athens in the Greek capital in Round 38 on Friday. Panathinaikos finished seventh in the regular season with a 22-16 record. It will face AS Monaco in the seventh-place play-in game next week, with a chance to reach the playoffs against second-seed Valencia Basket. Efes closed the regular season with a 12-26 record.

Nikos Rogkavopoulos paced the winners with 24 points, a new career high, missing just one shot. Kendrick Nunn added 18 while Mathias Lessort and Kenneth Faried each had 14 for Panathinaikos, which led 45-38 at halftime and boosted its margin to 71-43 at the end of the third quarter to cruise to an important victory. Jordan Loyd led Efes with 15 points. Sehmus Hazer added 13 while David Mutaf had 10 for Efes in its final game of this EuroLeague season.

Monaco finished the EuroLeague regular season in style, securing itself at least two more games by leading from start to finish and routing visiting Hapoel 105-85 on Friday night. The win means Monaco will finish the regular season in seventh or eighth place with a 22-16 record. Meanwhile, Hapoel dropped to 23-15 and lost its chance to hold home-court advantage in the playoffs. It finished sixth and will face either Real Madrid or Valencia Basket in the best-of-five playoffs.

Monaco took control right away behind Mike James, Alpha Diallo and Jaron Blossomgame. It led 25-11 late in the first quarter, was up by as many as 19 in the second, then opened the third quarter with a 14-2 run to blow the game wide open. Blossomgame scored 18 of his career-high 30 points in the second half, while James was everywhere with 20 points and 7 assists. Matthew Strazel had 11 points and 9 assists, and Diallo and Daniel Theis scored 11 apiece. Chris Jones paced Hapoel with 17 points and a career-best 10 assists, while Dan Oturu had 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Zalgiris secured a playoff berth for the first time since 2023 with a feisty home win over Paris in the final round of the regular season after Moses Wright delivered a monster performance, setting career highs in rebounds and PIR while pack leader Sylvain Francisco hit clutch threes in the fourth quarter to break down the stubborn visitors. Zalgiris finished on a 23-15 record as Wright racked up 16 points and 18 rebounds to amass a PIR of 43, while Francisco added 21 points and 5 assists in a fervent atmosphere.
