Brancou Badio and Jean Montero contributed 15 and 11 points respectively on their way to victory. Carsen Edwards fought hard for Virtus, recording 26 points to keep his team in the game.

Tavares added 11 rebounds for a double-double. Simmons hit the go-ahead free throws with 1.9 seconds left before Llull missed from way downtown at the buzzer.

Olympiacos got back to winning ways by beating ASVEL 74-82 on Friday night at LDLC Arena. The hosts pushed back in the second half and held Olympiacos to just 14 points in third quarter, but the guests went on a 0-9 surge to open the fourth before sealing the outcome down the stretch.

Having grabbed only its second road victory in six games, Olympiacos joined Fenerbahce at the top of the standings with a 23-12 record.
