Blatt Fed, Sorkin Finished | ASVEL - Maccabi | R32 BASKETBALL HIGHLIGHTS 2025-26

Tamir Blatt and Roman Sorkin produced a huge second half as Maccabi wiped out a 14-point halftime deficit for an 85-89 win at ASVEL which kept the Israeli side in the hunt for a postseason berth. Sorkin finished on a game-high 23 points while Blatt racked up 14 points and 13 assists to compensate for a dreadful performance by Lonnie Walker, who finished on a mere 2 points having gone 0-of-6 from the floor.

Maccabi improved to 15-16 while the competition’s bottom team ASVEL dropped to 8-24 after staying winless in 2026, as Glynn Watson was helped off the court in the third quarter with what looked like a dislocated shoulder after landing awkwardly.

Jimmy Clark added 14 points for Maccabi, John DiBartolomeo poured in 13 while Jaylen Hoard amassed 8 and 11 rebounds as the visitors bounced back from shooting 1-of-14 from deep in the first half. At the other end, Paul Eboua racked up 19 points and 7 boards, Watson scored 17 and David Lighty netted 14 in defeat.

A nervy start to the second half was followed by a 10-0 run by the guests, who were up 55-62 after 30 minutes. Yet, Kendrick Nunn took over in the fourth quarter as Panathinaikos bounced back, held Zvezda to just 12 points and turned the game around to grab its second straight home win. The two teams are now level in the standings at 18-14, with Zvezda holding the head-to-head advantage.

Nigel Hayes-Davis led all scorers with 20 points and Nunn netted 19 - 13 of which were scored in the last quarter. Jared Butler paced Zvezda with 15 points in the Greek capital.

Zalgiris improves to 18-14, while Real drops to 20-11 as a five-game winning run ends.

Fenerbahce returned to winning ways by edging Milan 79-75 at home in Round 32 on Friday. Fenerbahce improved to 23-9 in the standings, securing a Top 10 finish and mathematically qualifying for the postseason. It was its eighth consecutive home win. Milan dropped to 16-16 and keeps ranking 12th overall.

Talen Horton-Tucker paced the winners with 23 points. Nando De Colo and Wade Baldwin each added 16 for Fenerbahce, which trailed 31-41 early in the third quarter. Horton-Tucker had eight points in a 12-0 run which put Fenerbahce ahead, 43-41. Armani Brooks led Milan with 22 points. Marko Guduric added 15 in his first visit to Ulker Sports and Event Hall since leaving Fenerbahce last summer. Quinn Ellis and Zach LeDay each had 10 points for the guests. Baldwin, Horton-Tucker and De Colo helped Fenerbahce seal the deal, 74-65, in the penultimate minute of the contest.
