Maccabi saw its playoff hopes dissolve at the hands of Paris, who put on an electrifying offensive display to secure the 113-80 victory at Adidas Arena. The results offers Paris cause for late-season optimism only, while Maccabi now needs a near-miracle to feature in the postseason.

Paris played at a relentless pace to build an early 17-point lead through strong team offense; the team’s 41-point first period was the club’s highest ever and tied for the second-highest in EuroLeague history. Maccabi fought to stay in it, but Paris stayed in control and carried a 23-point lead into halftime.

The hosts kept pushing after the break, exposing Maccabi’s turnovers to stretch the margin to 33 points heading into the fourth. With no way back, Maccabi could only try to limit the damage late on. By the time the buzzer sounded, Julius Thomas had smashed its all-time game scoring record and earned one of the most emphatic wins of the season.

Justin Robinson dominated for the hosts, adding 6 dishes to his 25-point scoring performance. Sebastian Herrera also made his mark on the contest with 16 points and Allan Dokossi added 14 points.
