Panathinaikos OPAP Athens is a professional basketball club based in Athens, Greece. The club was founded in 1919 and has a long and successful history in Greek and European basketball.

Panathinaikos is one of the most successful basketball teams in Greece, having won 19 Greek League championships, 18 Greek Cups, and 1 Greek Super Cup. The team is also a regular participant in the EuroLeague Basketball competition, having won the title 6 times, most recently in 2011.
